A short pour with a wood fill wall on it reaches the same bearing line the bungalow reaches with one tall pour, and the ENTRY landing sits a half flight below MAIN FL. The upper level is the split’s lower second floor: it stands over the ENTRY and the garage rather than on MAIN FL, so 2ND FL OVER ENTRY — not a wall height — is what sets its deck, and the roof follows it down. The balcony is joisted 11⅞″; only the deck over the garage takes the 19¼″ package. ENTRY WALL is derived at 3'-4¾″ — fill wall less the entry package, both landing on the 5'-0″ pour’s sill. Movie’s section carries a 5'-1⅛″ dimension near the entry that is 1'-8⅜″ adrift and not yet accounted for.

The DETACHED GARAGE row of the section table, drawn. A building of its own — so unlike the garage in band 1 it has its own wall, its own grade line and its own roof, and it is set out from the top of its slab rather than from the house’s main floor. The default foundation is a thickened-edge slab: one monolithic pour, 4″ in the field deepening to 1′-0″ at the perimeter with a 45° taper. Grade sits 10″ below the floor — the same height a grade beam would put it, so switching foundation moves the concrete and leaves the door and apron where they are. At the back. A grade beam and a frost wall take a slab sloping ⅛″/ft to the door and a thickened edge is level, so on a typical 24′ garage the two sloped floors finish 3″ lower at the door than the level one. Zones are areas whose floors do not sit at MAIN FL. The garage rows feed BUILD HOUSE’s garage generation in a follow-up; the bilevel rows wait on the split-level feature.
